My blackberry wine which I started 7 days ago is coming along fine. On day 5 the hydrometer read 1.55 and on day 7 it read 1.40. I'll wait until it reads 1.20 before I rack it over to a secondary fermenter.
I'm feeling the pressure of not having enough carboys. My next wine is going to be a red wine directly from grapes. I need more primary fermenters and carboys! At least when I rack the blackberry wine over I'll have another primary fermenter.
