Lets make PORT

One of the benefits of making your own wine is that you can experiment and be creative.

I like a challenge so I'm making 2 types of port. One type of port is a blueberry and the other is a red wine port.

The blueberry is one year old blueberry wine converted to port. The other port is a combination of Merlot and Beaujolais reds.

The fun comes in mixing different ratios of wines to make just the right taste. Making wine is fun!

When we've completed our mixing and bottling I'll let you know the results. From our preliminary mixes the red wine port is to die for. Stay tuned.
