Sweet Wine Food Paring

This week we're going to bottle our sweet Gewürztraminer. Preliminary tasting show this wine to be of exemplary quality.

This made me wonder what foods can this sweet Gewürztraminer be paired with?

The general rule of thumb is that with desserts the wine should be sweeter than the dessert. Our Gewürztraminer was made with the suzzreserve pack thus giving it a sweetness that limits it's pairing somewhat.

Gewürztraminer's pair well with Asian foods of all types. Lighter meals with fish or chicken also pair well with this wine.

No matter what it's paired with, it also tastes great just on it's own.
